Lately, I’ve become so frustrated when cleaning my bathroom. My tub looks so icky. Makes me not want to go in there, let alone take a shower. I get really embarrassed when company comes over because I don’t want them to go into the bathroom. I’ve tried everything, from bleach, comet, anything bathroom cleaner and NOTHING has worked. I just want to scream at the top of my lungs. Ahhhhhh!!
Okay, now that I’ve got that out the way, lets talk about what I did to get rid of that nasty, icky residue that was left on my tub. The Magical Shower Cleaner is what I call it. It is so simple to use and very effective. 2 basic ingredients. That’s all! Dawn + Vinegar = Magical Shower Cleaner. Yep, just Dawn dish-soap and distilled White Vinegar. Oh can’t forget the spray bottle. You’re going to need it to spray down your bathroom. 🙂
The recipe calls for the blue Dawn dish-soap but I didn’t have any blue Dawn on hand so as you can see I used the Mediterranean Lavender Dawn dish-soap. Oh how wonderful the smell was. The vinegar smell was not overpowering. You can smell it but it wasn’t as strong. At first I didn’t think it was going to work because it wasn’t the blue Dawn. Well, to my surprise it worked perfectly. I mixed the Dawn and Vinegar in the spray bottle and started spraying my tub. I let it sit for about an hour and went back and lightly scrubbed away. Once I got down scrubbing, I rinsed and my tub is sparkling. Looks brand new. See take a look at the before and after picture. Look how gross it looked before I used the Magical Shower Cleaner. Gross isn’t it?
