Now that the dark nights have officially set in, it’s time to break up the doom and gloom of winter with a bit of festive cheer. Christmas is all about being extravagant, so why not repurpose the spare room, attic, garage or office into the perfect little Christmas grotto for a few days! A grotto is essentially a magical cave, so make sure there is no natural lighting. Decorate the walls, put up festive ornaments, and make it a cosy and snug Christmas wonderland. Instead of following the stars like the three wise men, bring the starry night to your living room window. Draping hanging star lights down your window will make it feel like Christmas is every day. Again, this is a simple, but highly effective way of capturing the magic of Christmas.
