However, even though it is advisable to consult your healthcare practitioners directly with any issues. These can be changes to eyesight or hearing, hearing aid fitting, new glasses, or changes to your body and general health. Eat well
There is no denying the benefits of making sure you get a healthy balanced diet. If you are strapped for time and often find yourself reaching for convenience food, then making small healthy swaps can help you to build healthier eating habits as opposed to creating massive changes. Popping fruit in your bag or car when you leave the house or having more nutritious snacks such as nuts, seeds and veggies can help you to eat better in a way which works for you.
Exercise
Any exercise counts. Are you deep cleaning the house? Put your favorite music on and work up a sweat. Are you taking the kids to the park? Get active with them and raise your heartbeat. The type of exercise isn’t always important; it is increasing your heart rate a little and working up a bit of a sweat. Even a stroll around the block is beneficial to your health, and walking is one of the best exercises you can do for your body.
Reduce stress levels
Easier said than done, but by taking time to add a little bit of ‘me time’ to your day to help you work through and manage all of your daily life stress or difficult situations can help you to lower your stress levels and reduce the impact of stress on your heart. Yoga, meditations, mindfulness or even journaling are all great ways to work through any stressful life situations you have going on as is sharing your mental load with others to help you resolve the problem or tackle it thanks to a new perspective.
Sleep
Sleep is one of the significant ways to make improvements to your health. But how do you resolve your issues before bedtime to stop your problems keeping you up at night? Remove any stimulants from the bedroom such as TV, laptops and phones. Blue light can interfere with your sleeping habits. Keep a notebook by your bed to get any troublesome thoughts out of your head and consider using a white noise app to help you block out your environment and get some quality sleep for the night. Using aromatherapy oils such as lavender can also help you create an ideal sleeping environment too.
