My Review:
A couple weeks ago I was contacted by Katelynn over at Diamond Candles to see if I wanted to do a review on one of their candles and host a giveaway for my readers. I instantly said yes. How could I pass this up? I’ve always wanted to try these candles out because of all the raves I’ve been hearing about them. About a week later I received my candle and did the happy dance. Don’t worry I didn’t dig into the candle to get the ring out. I burned it and waited patiently for the ring to appear.

I know, if you haven’t heard of Diamond Candles before you’re probably asking yourself rings in a candle? How could you possibly put a ring in a candle without ruining it? Don’t worry those same questions came to my mind as well when I first heard of Diamond Candles. Here’s how Diamond Candles did it: they put the ring in a little plastic baggy and wrap it up in some gold foil then inserted the ring into the wax. That’s it! The rings are safely packaged and put in the candle!

It was such a hard decision to choose what candle I wanted to try but I gravitated towards a Vanilla scent and so I chose their Black Raspberry Vanilla candle. The candle burned slowly and had an AMAZING fragrant that went throughout my whole house. I had the candle lit for about 5-6 hours before I notice the top of the gold foil. Excited as I was I waited til all of the gold foil was revealed before I took the ring out. Once all of the gold foil was revealed a few hours later, I blew out the candle, grabbed my tweezers and pulled out the ring, wiped away the wax as good as I can and opened it up. Voila! A beautiful ring was born! Haha.

I love the fact that Diamond Candles use high quality ingredients in their candles. No paraffin wax or harsh chemicals in the wax or the wick. All natural, earth friendly ingredients made from soy beans that are grown in the U.S. I also love the fact that no matter what candle you buy from Diamond Candles there is ALWAYS going to be a in it it. For a candle that costs about $30.00 and the potential of finding a $5,000 ring… I say that’s a pretty awesome deal.

Would I buy Diamond Candles in the future? Yep, you betcha I would. Would I recommend Diamond Candles to family and friends? Yep, I sure would. Candles + jewelry = a very happy lady and a yummy smelling home!
