While you may have tried to wave goodbye to your vices in the past, it can actually be different this time. First: Find support
Going through something difficult all on your own is not only hard on yourself – but it makes it a bit easier to give up as well. Just like you might put in a bit more effort when you’re under pressure and all eyes are on you, you’ll be a bit less likely to give up when you have other people cheering you on.
They will be disappointed if you quit, for sure, but they’ll also be around to pick you up again and make sure that you don’t give up completely. There is always a new day tomorrow and having people around you for support will remind you of this.
